Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinates and supervises the academic staff in grades 7-12, including observing, evaluating, developing, and coaching all staff.
• Recommends methods and means for continuous improvement of academic performance, instructional processes, and operations.
• Supervises the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
• Prepares academic budgets for the building.
• Selects and assigns staff appropriately.
• Establishes and promotes high standards and expectations for all staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
• Ensures compliance with all laws, policies, and procedures.- The successful candidate needs to be a student and staff-centered administrator who has exemplary management and leadership skills.
- The successful candidate for this position also needs to possess the ability to foster a professional learning environment and engage staff and the community in creating a positive dynamic learning environment focused on student achievement and accomplishment.
- Years of Experience: 1-3 years administrative experience preferred, but not required.
- Degree: Masters
- Licenses: Must hold a valid administrator license or be able to obtain within the first year.
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction planning is preferred, but not required.
- Acceptable Background Check required.
