About iThrive:
The iThrive Center is a new and innovative program within the Richland School District that blends education and therapy to support our youngest learners (4K–4th grade) with the highest behavioral needs. With a focus on healing, growth, and learning, iThrive is designed to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where students receive individualized instruction and therapeutic support. The program will launch with approximately 4 students and is expected to expand to serve up to 15 students. We are looking for a BCBA with a passion for early intervention, a team mindset, and a heart for helping students thrive.

Position Overview:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be a vital member of the iThrive interdisciplinary team, collaborating with educators, therapists, aides, and families to create and implement behavior intervention plans that help students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. This role requires both expertise and flexibility, as the program is intentionally small to start but designed for long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring a growth mindset, strong leadership, and a commitment to supporting students with complex needs.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be a vital member of the iThrive interdisciplinary team, collaborating with educators, therapists, aides, and families to create and implement behavior intervention plans that help students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other appropriate assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS) to identify student needs.

Develop and oversee individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.

Collaborate with teachers, aides, therapists, and school administrators to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.

Provide coaching, modeling, and support to staff working directly with students, including training on ABA principles and best practices.

Collect and analyze student data to drive ongoing decision-making and ensure interventions are effective.

Conduct regular observations and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary planning, and family consultations to support holistic student growth.

Help shape and refine program structures, systems, and routines as iThrive grows to full capacity.
Qualifications:
-
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
-
Experience working with children with behavioral challenges, preferably in school or early childhood settings.

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and developmentally appropriate practices.
-
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, and independently in a growing and evolving program.

Knowledge of and experience with data collection tools and electronic documentation platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience supporting students in alternative education or therapeutic school settings.

Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and collaborative problem-solving approaches.
-
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), if applicable in Wisconsin.
