Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of basketball, with prior coaching experience at the high school level. Exceptional communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with student-athletes, assistant coaches, parents, and administration. While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with previous head coaching experience at the high school level and a background in collegiate-level play. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is paramount.

Preferred candidates will exhibit a genuine passion for mentoring student-athletes and a sincere interest in their development. They should be enthusiastic about contributing positively to our school's culture. Candidates must either possess a certified teaching license or be willing to fulfill the WIAA requirements for coaching without licensure. Additionally, certification or a commitment to obtaining certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is required.
