Full Time
The Mineral Point School District is looking to add an SLP position in the 2025-2026 school year. This SLP will join the special education team to meet the needs of our diverse learners using a workload model. The SLP could range from a 1.0 FTE.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- An understanding of the IEP process and the ability to assist in the evaluation of students with disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all staff and families in a Professional Learning Community setting focused on learning and results through collaboration.
- A commitment to personal, and professional development.
- Ability to develop, prepare, and implement best practices and appropriate services based on student needs.
- A desire to work toward and in a student-centered personalized learning environment.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and strong interpersonal and communication skills desired.

- Hold or be eligible to hold Wisconsin DPI certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist
With approximately 800 students in grades Pre-K through 12, the 60 certified staff and 40 support staff are housed in two buildings (K-5 and 6-12) in the beautiful driftless region of Southwest WI (45 minutes to Madison, 45 Minutes to Dubuque).
