Job Description:
Oconto Unified School District is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our student services team to begin with the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will provide psychological support to students, collaborate with educators and families, and promote academic, social, and emotional success for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and 504 evaluations to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Support multi-level systems of support (MLSS)
- Promote mental health awareness and provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Participate in professional development and stay updated on best practices in school psychology
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid Wisconsin DPI School Psychologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and intervention development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for supporting student success in a positive and inclusive school environment
