Divine Savior Catholic School in Kiel is looking to hire a part-time General Music teacher. This would involve general music classes in grades 3K-8, playing at the weekly school masses, and preparing two concerts during the school year (Christmas & spring). Divine Savior is a personalized learning school. We break down our teaching assignments according to subject thus allowing our students to grow and succeed at their own pace which is very exciting for the them.
This is currently a roughly .25 FTE, part-time position. However, FTE may increase due to possible interest in band instruction and/or partnerships with neighboring schools. Exact FTE can be calculated at interview. This is a fun and exciting place to work with strong support from our families and parish communities. This position will remain open until filled.
Divine Savior is a 3K through 8th grade school. We offer small class sizes and a family atmosphere where all the grade levels interact and support one another. Our teachers meet weekly with each student to set individual goals. We offer customized lessons and learning paths that are designed to meet students where they are at, and challenge them to go to the next level. Together staff, parents, and the students focus on one of the the greatest commands that God gave us in John 15: 12-13 Love one another as I have loved you.
Divine Savior is a member school of the Green Bay Diocese and is supported by the parishes of Holy Rosary, New Holstein; Saints Peter and Paul, Kiel; and St. Ann, St. Anna.
