Divine Savior Catholic School in Kiel is looking to hire a Physical Education (K-8) teacher. Divine Savior is a personalized learning school. We break down our teaching assignments according to subject thus allowing our students to grow and succeed at their own pace which is very exciting for the them. This position includes teaching PE classes from grades Kindergarten through 8th grade and health classes for grades 3-8.
This is listed as a full-time 1.0 FTE. However, that would structured as a partnership with a surrounding school that is still to be determined. Divine Savior School would enter into a shared agreement with the other school whereas Divine Savior will utilize roughly .50 FTE. Final formula and schedule of teaching would take place in June. Divine Savior would also accept any part-time applicants interested in Divine Savior only.
Divine Savior is a 3K through 8th grade school. We offer small class sizes and a family atmosphere where all the grade levels interact and support one another. Our teachers meet weekly with each student to set individual goals. We offer customized lessons and learning paths that are designed to meet students where they are at, and challenge them to go to the next level. Together staff, parents, and the students focus on one of the the greatest commands that God gave us in John 15: 12-13 Love one another as I have loved you.
Divine Savior is a member school of the Green Bay Diocese and is supported by the parishes of Holy Rosary, New Holstein, Saints Peter and Paul, Kiel, and St. Ann, St. Anna.
