Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year (220 Day Contract)
 
The Mosinee School District is located in central Wisconsin between Wausau and Stevens Point on the I-39 corridor. Our District encompasses roughly 250 square miles with many lakes and outdoor recreational opportunities. The Mosinee School District has a wide grouping of students from the shores of Lake DuBay all the way North to the borders of the Nine Mile Recreation Area. The Mosinee School District is a strong, vast school community with a committed staff that shares a passion for teaching and learning. Mosinee is a 4K-12 District, with one elementary school, offsite 4k sites, one middle school and one high school. The District, in an active partnership with families and the community, prepares all students for academic achievement and lifetime success.

The Mosinee School District is seeking a Middle School Principal to begin 7/1/2025 who is an exceptional leader, intuitive, creative, analytical, and inspirational; a leader who is energetic and driven to lead an exceptional school staff. Our mission is focused on enhancing the learning experience for every child. Our new leader will be uniquely qualified to help us face the challenges of building school capacity, managing continuous improvement, meeting ESSA accountability demands, caring for students’ diverse needs, closing the achievement gap, and working effectively in a standards aligned curriculum. As a leader, we are looking for a “roll up your sleeves” optimistic, realistic, and courageous individual who believes in the success of every child. This position is a full-time 1.0 FTE, 220 day administrative contract and reports to the District's superintendent.

• Facilitating joyful and enriched learning opportunities for all students
• A desire to serve the children, families, and community of Mosinee


The new principal will join an administrative team who lead and learn collaboratively with the goal of improving teaching and learning at their respective schools and throughout the District. The leadership team shares ideas and expertise, solve problems as a team, trains together, divides work tasks and responsibilities, and supports each other.
