The Pepin Area School District, which is nestled along the shores of Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River along the Great River Road, is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher with a Wisconsin DPI Grades 1-9 certification to join our team. Our schools are routinely one of the highest performing in the area. Pepin is a town that has great pride in its school and offers students tremendous opportunities with the ability to provide individual attention to every student. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students' academic, social, and emotional growth and can work well with a team of educators. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Wisconsin state standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin DPI Grades 1-9 certification (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for student growth and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in elementary or middle school teaching.
  • Familiarity with RtI and differentiated instruction strategies.
  • Experience integrating technology in the classroom.
  • Mathematics background.
