Summer

Position: Math Teacher - Geometry Grades 10 -12

Location: Wauwatosa West High School

Position Summary: Provide instruction and monitor student work using a credit recovery program of Edmentum. The class runs for six weeks. No classes on July 4th. Monday through Thursday, no Fridays.

 

Anticipated start date: June 20, 2025

Anticipated Hours: 7:30 AM - 10:05 AM

Rate:$30 per hour

 

Schedule:June 23rd to August 1st

 
 


REQUIRED:
* Wisconsin DPI License
*Mathematics - 4-12 or 9-12
 


Qualifications:
Relevant certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
Knowledge of effective teaching practices
Ability to design lessons that meet the educational needs of all students
Ability to work in a collaborative manner with other staff members
Knowledge of the key components of professional learning communities (preferred)
Knowledge of PBIS and MLSS (preferred)
Understanding of relevant common core standards (preferred)
