Summer

Position: Grades 1 - 2 Science/STEM

Location: Lincoln Elementary School

Position Summary:  Science Investigations - three week course that is then repeated for another three weeks - Monday through Thursday, no Fridays.

 

 

Anticipated start date: June 20, 2025

Anticipated Hours: 8 AM - 12 PM

Rate:$30 per hour

 

Summer School Information:

Summer School Orientation meeting: TBD

Schedule as follows:

Monday, June 23:  First Day of Summer School

Session A (K-8 courses) runs June 23 - July 10

 

Friday, July 4th:No classes (K-12)

 

Session B (K-8 Courses) runs July 14-31

Friday, Aug. 1: Last day of summer school for high school

Monday, Aug. 4, to Friday, Aug. 8: Beginning Band Blast (Longfellow Middle School)

 
 


REQUIRED:
* Wisconsin DPI License
*Elementary/Middle School License
 


Qualifications:
Relevant certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
Knowledge of effective teaching practices
Ability to design lessons that meet the educational needs of all students
Ability to work in a collaborative manner with other staff members
Knowledge of the key components of professional learning communities (preferred)
Knowledge of PBIS and MLSS (preferred)
Understanding of relevant common core standards (preferred)
