Position Overview:
As a Math Interventionist, you will work with small groups of students who need additional support in math. You will collaborate with teachers to assess student needs, implement targeted intervention strategies, and monitor progress to ensure student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small-group and one-on-one math intervention instruction.
- Use research-based intervention strategies to support student learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven methods.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with grade-level curricula.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff about student progress.
- Adjust instruction based on student needs and assessment results.
- Support a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and training related to math interventions.
Qualifications:
✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
✔️ Certification: Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain) with an emphasis in math preferred
✔️ Experience: Previous experience in math intervention, special education, or elementary teaching preferred
✔️ Skills: Strong instructional skills, data analysis, and collaboration abilities
✔️ Passion: Commitment to helping students develop math confidence and skills
