Position Details
The Northern Ozaukee School District is seeking a full time High School Social Studies Teacher to begin at the start of the 2025-26 school year at Ozaukee High School. Candidates must hold valid WI DPI licensure. It is preferred that applicants have experience in the high school setting as well as teaching Advanced Placement courses. Courses taught will potentially include: World History, US History, AP US History, Psychology, AP Psychology, and Economics.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge with subject area standards

Valid WI DPI Licenses (Social Studies and/or Broadfield Social Studies, History, Psychology, and Economics)

Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Excellent communication, collaboration, listening, relationship building, and problem solving skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse learners, families, and staff

Ozaukee High School is a comprehensive public high school serving grades nine through twelve, located in Fredonia, WI, with an enrollment of about 200 students. The school provides a wide academic range of coursework that includes Advanced Placement, dual-credit, college-prep, technical, fine arts, and extended support in math and language arts. Beyond the classroom, we offer 17 varsity sports and 20 clubs.
