The Cedarburg School District seeks a highly dedicated Social Studies teacher who is committed to best instructional practice and high expectations. The ideal candidate for this teaching position will be familiar with state and professional academic standards and have a firm grasp on effective pedagogy. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate successful use of formative assessment data to guide instruction and foster student-ownership for learning. Successful experience integrating technology into personalized learning opportunities is highly desired. Experience teaching a variety of high school Social Studies courses is desired, including AP World History, US History and Global Studies.

A tireless work ethic and sense of humor are highly preferred. Only intrinsically motivated individuals with the most positive of attitudes should consider working in this highly regarded district where students' needs come first.
