The School District of Westfield is accepting applications for a full-time Math and Physics teacher to work with students at Westfield Area High School. Westfield Area High School serves approximately 300 students and is located in beautiful south-central Wisconsin on Interstate 39. Westfield is approximately 40 miles south of Stevens Point and 50 miles north of Madison. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic educator to join our talented staff.

Westfield students demonstrate polite and respectful behavior, and teachers receive unwavering support & backing from administration. In recent years, Westfield Area High School was ranked as the 20th best high school in the state of Wisconsin by US News & World Report. This teacher is responsible for working with students in grades 9-12. Class offerings for 2025-2026 school year include: Algebra 1 and Freshman Physics. Teachers are encouraged to add classes to their course offerings that suit their interests, the interests of students, and the changing needs of the workforce. Teachers have the freedom to propose and implement new course offerings in order to best provide students the skills needed to be successful throughout their lives.

Our teachers’ classrooms are equipped with all necessary instructional and technology materials. We make sure to provide the resources our teachers need in order to provide highly effective instruction. Any additional resources needed by the instructor will be obtained prior to the start of the school year. We take great pride in ensuring our teachers have exceptional facilities in which to teach.

Requirements/Qualifications: Must be certified or willing to become certified with a Mathematics (#1400) and Physics (#1625) Wisconsin DPI license. Must possess knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. Ideal candidates are energetic, creative and highly skilled at developing positive relationships with colleagues & students.
