Positions available at Evergreen Elementary, Mountain Bay Elementary, Hatley Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Rothschild Elementary, and Greenheck Turner Community Center.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provides guidance, safety, and quality care for school age students at specific schools for before/after school program as scheduled and able to work flexible hours.
- Provides leadership, support, and being a role model to students at school sites.
- Assists in the development of curriculum, program development, and facilitation of the school age program.
- Follows the daily schedule in accordance with the program and state licensing guidelines.
- Maintains positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Answers parent concerns or makes appropriate referral to Adventure Care School Age Supervisor in a positive manner.
- Participates in and assists with the planning of family events at schools occasionally.
- Attends monthly staff meetings/trainings to be in compliance with continuing education policies as scheduled by the Adventure Care School Age Supervisor.
- Assists in care for no school days scheduled through Adventure Care (Vacation Fun Days).
- Assists with planning and carrying out a daily program in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Licensing Regulations.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Adventure Care School Age Supervisor.
- This is a school year position.
- Hours will vary between 6:15 am – 8:30 am (Before Care) and 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm (After Care).
- Total hours up to 25 hours/week (5 hours/day, 5 days/week).
- Hours are flexible on working just Before Care or just After Care or both Before and After Care.
HOURLY WAGE:
- $13-$15 per hour. There are no benefits offered with this position.

This position is funded by the Greenheck Turner Community Center Fund 80.

WHAT IT TAKES:
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Must be willing to complete Early Childhood courses or work on Early Childhood courses as requested by the Adventure Care School Age Supervisor.
- Possess and demonstrate ability to interact with children on an on-going positive basis at the child’s level.
- Must possess current adult/child CPR with AED, or complete within six (6) months of hire date.
- Must complete all pre-employment required by the DC Everest School District prior to beginning work.
