Full Time

The staff at Danz Elementary believes in creating and sustaining a positive environment for learning. Through a school-wide approach, staff continually teach and model respectful, attentive, responsible, and appreciative behaviors. The staff supports all students through collaboration and building relationships with families. Community partnerships also assist by providing resources for the needs of students and families of Danz Elementary. Our after school program through the Boys & Girls Club completes a comprehensive approach to ensuring all students have a place to learn and grow. We also offer a bilingual Spanish program option for students. We are striving every day to ensure all of the students at Danz will become college, career, and community ready. 

 

Summary:

As the Danz Elementary Principal you will play a critical role in shaping young minds, empowering teachers, and building a school culture rooted in equity, academic excellence, and community engagement. You will provide strategic leadership to ensure the academic and personal success of all students. This role involves managing the daily operations of the school, supporting and evaluating staff, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture, and engaging families and the wider community.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide visionary leadership to establish and achieve academic and operational goals. 

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and equitable learning environment for all students and staff. 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices alighted with district and state standards.

  • Supervise, support, and evaluate teachers and staff to promote professional growth and high performance.

  • Utilized data to drive decision making, monitor student progress, and implement interventions to support diverse learners. 

  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and community stakeholders to build strong partnerships.

  • Develop and manage the school’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Ensure compliance with district policies, state and federal regulations, and school safety protocols. 

  • Champion equity and diversity initiatives to eliminate opportunity gaps and create a culture of belonging.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.

Valid Wisconsin Principal or Administrator License.

Minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience, with demonstrated success in educational leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of elementary education, curriculum design, and data-driven instruction

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading equity-focused initiatives.

Proven track record of improving student outcomes and supporting teacher development.

Spanish Bilingual proficiency (preferred but not required)
