The School District of Janesville is currently hiring for a Paraprofessional at Van Buren Elementary School. This position will work 3.75 hours per day (11:15 am - 3:00 pm) on a school year schedule.

This is a school year position beginning as January 27 2025.

1. Strong interpersonal, organization, oral and written communication skills.
2. Personal computer skills or willingness to learn.
3. High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
4. Ability to assist students in learning and to work cooperatively with professional staff supervision.
5. Demonstrable human relations skills.
6. Must have completed a minimum of 48 credit hours post-secondary education; or have an Associate's degree; or meet required assessment criteria.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the district may find appropriate and acceptable.
Previous experience preferred.
