The School District of Janesville is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional - Special Education position (7.0 hours per day) at Lincoln Elementary School.
Interested and qualified candidates should include a letter of interest, resume, and two (2) letters of recommendation when applying.
This is a school year position beginning as soon as possible.
This position participates in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).

1. Strong interpersonal, organization, oral and written communication skills.
2. Personal computer skills or willingness to learn.
3. High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
4. Interest in working with students with special needs.
5. Ability to assist students in learning and to work cooperatively with professional staff supervision.
6. Demonstrable human relations skills.
7. Must have completed a minimum of 48 credit hours post-secondary education; or have an Associate's degree; or meet required assessment criteria.
8. Must obtain Special Education Program Aide license.
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the district may find appropriate and acceptable.
Previous experience preferred.
