The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time, One to One Special Education Paraprofessional to work at the 4K Center for Literacy. This is a 10-month position, working Monday - Friday (12:15pm to 3:45pm, 3.5 hours per day). This position will begin in November.
The right candidate will:
● Work with a student with varying disabilities in a community vocational program
● Monitor and reinforce student performance through observation; perform data collection, compilation and other record keeping duties
Desired Skills
● Ability to work well with others
● Ability to maintain confidentiality of all functions
● Good verbal and written communication skills
● Patient, supportive
● Attend work on a consistent basis; punctual
Pay and Benefits
● $16.00 per hour
Experience
● High School Diploma
