Make a difference in the lives of children-consider joining the team at Farmington Elementary School! The Kewaskum School District has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time regular education paraprofessional. 
 
Primary responsibilities for this position include supervising and working with students in a variety of settings including: recess, lunchroom and classroom. Classroom activities would be completed under the direction of the classroom teacher in Kindergarten-5th grade classrooms.

Within this role, the paraprofessional commonly:
- helps students individually or in small groups with concepts, skills, and subject matters as directed by the teacher or administrator
- assists with special projects in the building, including art classes; decorates classroom and hallway bulletin boards as needed
- aids in the supervision of recesses, lunchroom, hall traffic, and fire and other emergency drills/exercises
- completes duplication of teaching materials, creation of materials, correction of papers, distribution of printed information
- assists with first aid activities or medical needs if required.

The ideal candidate will have skills including experience working with children in this age range, be patient and supportive, be punctual and have good attendance, and work well with adults and children. A high school degree is required.

This is a school year only position, Monday- Friday, 25 hours per week.
