The Nicolet Union High School District (NUHSD) is seeking a motivated, innovative, and detail oriented District Accountant. The District Accountant plays an important role assisting with the management of financial operations for the district. Major responsibilities include leading in the following areas: annual audit, financial reporting (in compliance with WUFAR/GASB), cash management, monthly bank reconciliations, DPI reporting, grants management, management of Skyward Finance, and student count. Other major responsibilities where the District Accountant provides assistance includes the following: payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and school fees. The District Accountant also assists with managing the finances of the Nicolet High School Foundation.

The Nicolet Union High School District is a four year public high school with a multicultural student population of approximately 1100 students. Nicolet serves the Milwaukee suburbs of Bayside, Fox Point, Glendale and River Hills. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
CPA preferred, but not required
Successful experience in the field of Wisconsin Public School accounting and experience in school finance preferred, but not required
Skyward financial software experience preferred, but not required
