Part Time
The Before School Program Assistant at Palmyra-Eagle Montessori is responsible for providing a warm, safe environment after regular school hours.

The assistant works 2:00pm - 5:30pm.

Knowledge of the developmental needs of children and understanding of Montessori philosophy preferred. Experience working with children ages 6 weeks - 8 years old in a group setting preferred.

Assist in the coordination and distribution of snacks
Help to maintain a calendar of events
Maintain order and procedures during all activities, e.g. classroom, gym, playground, etc.
Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining facility and equipment
Transport students in the building to and from activities and assist in preparation as required
Assist in overseeing students while involved in activities
Communicate effectively and consistently with students, colleagues, and families regarding student progress and needs
