Lake Mills High School is seeking applications for the position of school counselor. The ideal candidate will create an environment that fosters the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students, while also monitoring and assessing their progress. This includes engaging with students, families, staff, and the community through effective communication and interaction. The District serves 1,471 students from the City of Lake Mills and the surrounding area in three schools: Lake Mills Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Lake Mills Area School District is the highest achieving school district in Jefferson County and has strong academic curricular programs at all levels, as well as excellent music, athletic, drama, and extracurricular programs. We are proud to educate our students in some of the top facilities in the country for environmental construction and design. Our elementary school is LEED Platinum certified and was built as a house concept which allows our staff to foster a sense of community and togetherness throughout the school day.

Lake Mills is ideally located in south-central Wisconsin near Interstate Hwy 94, fifty miles west of Milwaukee and twenty-five miles east of Madison, Wisconsin.
