Responsibilities:

- Provide individual counseling to students in grades preschool through 5th grade addressing academic, personal, social, and emotional needs.

- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student development and address any concerns.

- Develop and implement programs and workshops that promote student well-being, resilience, and character development.

- Guide students in their faith formation, integrating Catholic values into counseling practices.

- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of student information.

 

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field or the ability to obtain a Master's degree within 3 years (educational assistance programs are available)

- Valid licensure or licensure eligible for School Counseling or related Pupil Services area within 3 years.

- Strong commitment to Catholic education and the integration of faith into counseling practices.

- Experience working with elementary students in an educational setting is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
