Part Time

We are hiring for a Swimming Instructor
Verona Area School District Aquatic Center
Varied hours and schedule based on scheduled swim lessons
Starting wage of $22.00 per hour
Seeking well qualified Swim Instructors possessing the ability to respond to emergencies in a professional and mature manner, with a high lever of leadership and public relations skills, and appropriate decision making skills
Swim Instructor duties include but are not limited to: conducting swimming lessons as assigned, enforcing pool, locker room, lobby, and hallway rules, regulations, and safety procedures, and maintaining order around the pool and adjacent areas
Desired certifications include: Lifeguard/First Aid/ CPR/AED, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor,
Prior experience working with all age groups and experience working with students with special needs desirable
Bilingual (Spanish) language skills a plus
