The Mineral Point Unified School District is seeking an instructional assistant to join the special education and 4K team. This is part-time time (7:45-3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - no Wednesdays).
Candidates will support both the academic and social/emotional learning needs of the students. Candidates applying for this position should be caring, responsive, and flexible. The willingness to learn from and collaborate with other professionals as well as communicate in a professional and transparent manner is of utmost importance to support students and staff.
In order to be qualified, a instructional assistant must hold a high school diploma and have completed two years of post-secondary education (48 credits) or an associate's degree or have met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
