Evening Custodian - Vacancy ID: 214062

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Sweep all floors in assigned areas
2. Vacuum all entrance ways where carpet exists in assigned wing
3. Vacuum assigned rooms with carpet as needed. Minimum of three times weekly.
4. Dust assigned areas weekly.
5. Wash all windows in assigned area as needed. Minimally in Spring and Fall
6. Check all bathrooms daily for trash, vandalism, etc. Replenish paper and soap as needed.
7. Completely clean and disinfect assigned bathrooms daily.
8. Remove garbage from assigned area daily. Remove trash from building.
9. Keep all entrances clear of snow and ice.
10. Clean and Disinfect classrooms at least on a daily basis.
11. Clean and Disinfect health room on a daily basis. Replace paper and soap as needed.
12. Serve as building contact/supervisor for outside groups utilizing school facilities.
13. Reference the SBS Facilities/Field Use calendar regularly.
14. Assist with set up/take down of equipment/tables, bleachers, etc. for outside building use groups.
15. Secure the building before leaving; lock and place red/orange security bars at all entrances.
16. Report any problem areas to Head Custodian or District Administrator.
17. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to Head Custodian or District Administrator.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by Head Custodian or District Administrator.
