This position is available for part time or full time hours. We are seeking a general music teacher for our Elementary School or a Choir Teacher for our Middle and High School. Please call to inquire about the details of what this position could look like.
The Plum City School District is seeking a positive, energetic, and innovative Music Teacher to join our staff during the 2024/25 school year! Plum City is located in Midwest Wisconsin (within an hour of Eau Claire and the Twin Cities) and serves 250 students district wide. This is a full-time position. The position is supported by a staff and administrative team that works collaboratively and collectively, along with ample instructional and technological resources. Opportunities to coach exist within the district.
Successful candidates will:
* Develop positive relationships with each student.
* Promote active engagement in a student-centered learning environment through the implementation of curriculum.
* Differentiate curriculum, assessment, and instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
* Utilize technology for instructional purposes.
* Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and a positive learning environment.
* Work collectively and collaboratively with staff and administration.
* Pursue opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications: Music licensure is desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District can assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous successful experience as a Music Teacher
-Strong interest and experience in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
-History of school and community involvement

-Evidence of Licensure
