$19.60 - $26.22/hour based on experience
7:30am - 11:00am; (Tuesday - Friday), while school is in session
Part Time
The primary responsibility of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Interpreter is to meet the needs of the hearing-impaired student(s) in any educational situation through the use of sign language, finger spelling, gestures and speech to understand communication.
Location and Hours:
Madison Elementary (4K program): 7:30 am - 11:00 am (Tuesday-Friday), while school is in session.

Education, license and/or experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an appropriate interpreter training program or verification of equivalent expertise interpreting.
• Completion or eligibility for certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as an Educational Interpreter.
• Previous experience as a DHH Interpreter helpful.
