The Cedarburg School District seeks a highly dedicated Health Room Aide at Thorson Elementary School for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must be skilled at establishing positive relationships with students and colleagues. Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills are required. Interested candidates must be skilled at supporting/assisting students with a variety of minor injuries and medical needs. Experience working with students is preferred, as is experience with general first-aid.

Essential skills include the ability to build positive rapport with students and the ability to follow directions and training provided by the District Nurse. Applicants must be skilled at using diplomacy, friendliness and tact when interacting with students, staff and parents. Extensive personal protective equipment and training will be provided. The position is for 5 day per week. The workday is 9:30am-3:45pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.

A High School Diploma is a minimum requirement. A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is desired, but not required.
