The School District of New Berlin is seeking an outstanding, engaging and innovative Kindergarten (5K) educator to join its school community for the 2024-2025 school year. Must have or have the ability to obtain a Wisconsin DPI license in elementary with Kindergarten certification by August 2024.
Candidate must demonstrate consistent proficiency in components assigned under:
Domain 1: Planning and Preparation
Domain 2: Classroom Environment
Domain 3: Instruction
Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
•Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to provide individualized and small group instruction by adapting the district-approved curriculum to the needs of each pupil while maintaining high expectations
•Establish and maintain rapport with pupils to ensure an effective learning atmosphere
•Provide specific timely feedback to students
•Communicate expectations clearly to students and parents
•Effectively communicate with parents in various ways (i.e. website, newsletters, phone calls, e-mails, conferences)
•Work in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues
•To be a part of a collaborative team to analyze and respond to data
