Altoona High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Spanish teacher to join our team. This opportunity offers full-time employment and may involve teaching Spanish I - Spanish V.
As a school, we believe that all students can learn at high levels and as educators we have the ability to ensure this happens. Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) are the focal point of this belief. Our PLTs work together to plan and implement the curriculum using high impact instructional strategies, monitor student progress on formative assessments, analyze student data, respond to student learning needs, and provide additional support or extend student learning. We are looking for a reflective practitioner who is dedicated to continuous improvement and ensuring that all students are well-prepared for success beyond high school.
If you are passionate about fostering a deep understanding of Spanish and helping students thrive, we invite you to apply and be a part of our collaborative and supportive educational team. Opportunities for coaching, co-curricular involvement, and leadership within student organizations are also available within our district.
