Are you passionate about high school sports, Volleyeball and coaching? The Northland Pines High School is looking to add a JV2 Volleyball Coach to an already strong coaching staff. This is a great opportunity to not only get to help support and grow high school student athletes, it is a great chance to coach and learn from other high quality coaches. The JV2 Volleyball coach will:
- Support the head coach by completing all assigned responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with players and parents
- Assist with supervision of locker rooms, bus, etc.
- Work with the Activities Director and Athletic Trainer to ensure player safety
- Assist in the speed and strength development of athletes
Applicant must:
1. Possess leadership skills along with a prior knowledge and experience in coaching.
2. Have the ability to work cooperatively with administration, parents and student-athletes.
3. Possess basic knowledge for coaching/instructing fundamentals, safety and drills.
4. Have basic knowledge of organizing and developing practice plans and schedules.
5. Be energetic and have an attitude to foster a positive program environment.
