As a building and district, we implement all aspects of a Professional Learning Community in our pursuit of student success. While we still consider ourselves a smaller school, we provide “larger school opportunities” and are continuing to see a growing enrollment where both families and educators choose to make Altoona their school district of choice. We have amazing students, supportive parents and community, and an absolutely fantastic staff who work as a family doing whatever it takes for all students. We are excited you are interested to be a part of our Altoona family to help make us even better.
Qualifications:
Technology Education license is required. Applicants need to be able to teach the grade level of the students indicated in the overview (Grades 4-8 and/or 6-12). Bilingual applicants may be given preference.
Other required application materials:
In addition to the WECAN application process, a cover letter, resume, transcripts and three current letters of recommendation are required (upload to WECAN). Make sure to upload all required materials before hitting submit.
Application questions should be directed to Peggy McKillip. Questions related to the position can be directed to Steven Buss, by emailing sbuss@altoona.k12.wi.us.
