The School District of Sheboygan Falls is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher (Learning Strategist) for the 2024-2025 school year at our Middle School.  Emphasis will be on supporting students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. The selected candidate will be a dynamic, positive professional prepared to provide high quality instruction to students with a disability. Current knowledge of the candidate should include IEP development and implementation, application of evidence based strategies supporting student achievement and behavior, and delivery of instruction in inclusive educational settings. The candidate should possess excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff members, parents, and community members. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to problem solve and positively respond to challenging student needs. Applicants have to be committed to creating positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.  Interested candidates should have a growth mindset and be able to reflect while focusing on continually improving in their role. Sheboygan Falls Middle School was built in 2018 and provides a modern teaching and learning environment.  The middle school staff employs a family atmosphere where we ALL work together and focus on supporting the whole student. The middle school staff believes in and practices high expectations for ALL students. Universal Design of Learning (UDL), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Restorative Practices (RP), and Trauma Sensitive School (TSS) are some examples of the middle schools focus and work in supporting ALL of our students.
