Full Time
The Frederic School District is seeking an innovative, student centered, full time K-12 Physical Education/Health Teacher, beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Candidates must be passionate about Physical Education and Health Education, student learning, and making a positive impact with students. This position will work with multiple ages within the District.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
-Desire and ability to create course offerings aligned to learning standards.
-Understanding of student motivation, collaboration, and goal setting
-Strong technology skills that leads to the integration of all types of technology into a high functioning learning environment.
-Ability to teach through real-world application of skills and standards, adapting lessons based on student needs.
-Desire and ability to work in a Professional Learning Community environment.
-Strong communication skills.
-Passion for learning, growing, and exploring.
Qualifications: Physical Education and Health teaching certifications are desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District is prepared to assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are considered assets to applicants.
Co-curricular, coaching, and student organization leadership opportunities are available.

The Frederic School District serves approximately 500 students in Northwest Wisconsin. Every classroom within the District has been remodeled to meet the needs of today's learners. The District possesses a robust technology infrastructure, allowing for the continuous infusion of technology for our students and staff. With its passionate staff, evolving programs, community support, and highly competitive salary, Frederic School District remains a leader in the region. The District recently added a new, multi-purpose fitness center that will be utilized in this position.
