The Unified School District of Antigo's Director of Special Education and Pupil Services will ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to access educational programs and services. He/she will be responsible for providing administrative leadership for the ongoing development, improvement, and evaluation of the Pupil Service Programs, including special education and related services, school counseling, school social work, and nursing.

Job Duties
--Develop, coordinate, and supervise programs in the area of Pupil Services: Special Education, Nursing, School Psychology, and School Counseling.
--Prepare, submit, monitor and administer plans, reports, and budgets to meet State and Federal requirements related to Pupil Services and Special Education.
--Administer budgets related to Pupil Services and Special Education that most effectively utilizes the funds for the maximum benefit of students in the District.
--Develop and maintain administrative policies and rules related to Pupil Services.
--Receive, investigate, mediate, and process complaints under IDEA.
--Supervise and evaluate staff in pupil services that are not responsible to a specific building/assigned principal.
--Shall perform other duties as requested by the District Administrator.
