We're seeking a student-centered, adaptable, and collaborative special education paraprofessional to join our team at Altoona High School. This role involves supporting students with individualized education plans by working closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to foster their learning and personal development. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM during regular school hours.

As a high school special education paraprofessional, you'll be supporting students across various settings. Your primary responsibilities will include providing assistance to address students' social, academic, and personal needs. This may involve working one-on-one with students, assisting them in classrooms and during instruction, offering supervision and support throughout the day, and collaborating with both special education and classroom teachers.
