The Whitewater Unified School District is seeking one dynamic full-time Special Education Teacher at Whitewater Middle School. Job responsibilities include: evaluating, developing and monitoring IEPs, progress monitoring, and providing direct or related service to children per state and federal disability service delivery guidelines.

 

Whitewater Middle School serves students in grades six through eight and has an enrollment of approximately 445 students. Each grade level is arranged in teams of academic teachers and one team of related arts teachers serving all three grade levels. Students have the opportunity to participate in many clubs and sports. Whitewater is a vibrant, diverse community with a growing population of multilingual families. Preference will be given to candidates who are multilingual.

 

Whitewater Unified School District has elements of rural and suburban communities. The City of Whitewater has a population of approximately 14,500. Whitewater is located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Milwaukee, 45 miles east of Madison, and 100 miles northwest of Chicago.
