The School District of Reedsburg is seeking a new Communication Arts and Learning Center Coordinator starting July 1, 2024.  

This position cordinates the scheduling and use of the CAL center by school groups and supports effective and robust arts and learning program throughout the calendar year. The position also works with the CAL center board to maintain a diverse and engaging schedule of community arts programming and learning to enrich the Reedsburg area. 

 

The CAL center also maintains a technical director to that collaborates with the coordinator for high quality programming.

 

This is a part time 12 month position with an expectation of about forty hours per month average.  Time demands flucuate around seasonal and school year events.  The contract is paid out in twelve equal installments on the first of each month.

 

 

History

In 1999 the Communication Arts and Learning Center, a 598 seat auditorium, opened adjacent to Reedsburg Area High School. The Center was built entirely with private funds from generous individuals and businesses for the advancement of educational and cultural experiences and artistic expression. The CAL Center was gifted to the School District of Reedsburg with the stipulation that the community would have continued access to use the facility.
