Washington Elementary School is seeking a positive, child-centered professional who is committed to making a difference in lives of children at the Kindergarten level. The successful candidate will possess the ability to form strong relationships with students, be committed to positively influencing a diverse set of learners, and be able to create a supportive and engaging classroom culture. This candidate will also be able to plan for and deliver high quality lessons supporting students academically and socio-emotionally, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and have strong communication skills.

 

Washington Elementary School serves approximately 345 4K-5th grade students. Known for its positive school culture and child-centered focus, Washington takes great pride providing a school experience which makes a difference in the lives of students. A 2017 US Department of Education Blue Ribbon School and the 2022/2024 US News and World Report Best Elementary School, Washington has successfully closed achievement gaps for all students.
