Now Hiring: Instructional Coach at Marinette Intermediate School
Marinette School District is seeking an individual with high energy, strong commitment to student success, and leadership skills to join our team as an Instructional Coach. The position assist in reviewing student data and staff strategies to identify areas of opportunity. The Instructional Coach will then engage in activities such as coaching conversations, peer observations, modeling and co-teaching, to support continuous improvement and enhancement of staff knowlege and skills. Candidates should have the ability to create a supportive and appropriate environment to provide guidance and ongoing professional learning opportunities for staff. 

Responsibilities: 
Position will serve in an advisory and support role in the areas of curriculum, programming, assessment, professional development and materials implementation. The individual is responsible for the instruction and assessment of standards in the designated area, will provide instructional leadership in the development of objectives and will familiarize the department with the school's programs, practices and procedures. 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Wisconsin Certification as required 
  • Valid 5017 Reading Specialist Licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience preferred
  • Possess strong organizational, written language, verbal skills and communication skills  
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies
