Full Time

CERTIFICATION

  • Certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as an Instrumental Music Teacher (#1506) for grades 6-7 OR as a Music Teacher (#2500) for grades K-12.
  • In lieu of Music Teacher (#2500), additional licensure as a General Music Teacher (#1515) preferred. 

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Successful teaching or practicum experience at appropriate level.
  • Ability to relate to secondary students.
  • Experience working collaboratively with colleagues in professional learning communities.
  • Ability to design and create learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working and public relationships.
  • Experience meeting the needs of different groups of students.
  • Interest or experience in advising/coaching/co-curricular activities.
