We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the administrative team serving Hewitt-Texas Elementary School and Red Granite Charter School, a school founded on the core principles of Public Waldorf Education. A love for working with colleagues in a collaborative and supportive manner and openness to the unexpected are essential. This key position will provide administrative and grant leadership for the school community during its implementation. The person in this position holds the charter school's vision, ensuring the quality of all policies, procedures, outreach, and development and creating a spirit of collaboration and mutual support with all those involved in the planning. They will also support the charter school’s healthy growth and development through cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the Governance Board, Contractors, potential parents, other partners, and the broader community, as well as providing pedagogical leadership, curriculum and classroom development for Red Granite Charter School. 
 
The person in this position will fulfill Principal duties at both Red Granite Charter and Hewitt-Texas Elementary Schools. Both schools are physically located at Hewitt-Texas Elementary on Wausau's far northeast side. 

Minimum Qualifications:
-Principal licensure
-Three or more years of administration experience, preferably at a Waldorf School
-Proven track-record of successfully managing finances and/or grants
-Exceptional communication skills: oral, written, and technological, all among diverse audiences to include staff, students, board and community partners
-Proven time management, organizational, and group facilitation skills
-Experience working cross-culturally and/or a commitment to work toward improving one’s own cultural proficiency, valuing difference/diversity, recognizing personal limitations in one’s skills and expertise, and having the desire to learn/grow in these areas
-Alignment to the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education and the vision and mission of the school
-Leadership experience that enriches a strong and positive school community
-Proven analytical skills
-Educational leadership desired
-Experience/training/certification in Waldorf Education desired

Preference will be given to the candidate that brings:
1. an entrepreneurial spirit
2. a passion for children and their families
3. experience in the Charter School movement and Waldorf philosophy
4. knowledge of law, policies and regulations pertaining to youth, employee records, and charter schools
