Job Description:  The School District of Baraboo is seeking candidates for a full-time Teacher for 2nd Grade beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Approximate start date is August 19th, 2023. This position holds a 189-working day contract with benefits.  


Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification (#1088, #1777) or other appropriate licensure. Experience with diverse student populations is preferred. The successful candidate will display strong leadership skills, develop and deliver relevant and high quality instruction, utilize exemplary classroom management skills, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, have experience and knowledge of best practices and strong interpersonal skills.  In addition, the candidate must display strong organizational skills, have a working knowledge of the tenets of a professional learning community, and demonstrate capacity to build business-education partnerships in the community.
