Middle/High School Special Education Teacher - Vacancy ID: 205213

The Elcho School District is seeking a Middle & High School Special Education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The case manager can expect a small caseload size of 10-13 students. 

Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Familiarity with Special Education services and the IEP process.
- Ability to lead IEP meetings and write appropriate IEP goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire and skills to collaborate with regular education teachers to best meet the needs of students.
- Familiarity with the MLSS process.
- Ability to use various assessment data to inform instruction and guide IEP goals.
- Ability to utilize numerous forms of technology and district resources to enhance classroom learning.
- Strong and consistent classroom and behavior management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community that fosters a positive climate in the school.
- Willingness to be a part of the school beyond the classroom.
