QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be Wisconsin DPI certified in Art, early childhood to middle childhood. Adaptive Education (1859) certification preferred.
2. Experience working with or knowledge of standards and assessments in visual arts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Willingness to work with both regular and special education students.
• Knowledgeable of the Wisconsin State Art Standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility when working with staff, students, and families.
• Implementation of visual arts in a way that is motivating to a diverse student body.
• Willingness to collaborate with staff to enrich academic experiences.
• Successful experience working with a diverse student population (special education, multilingual learners, students from divergent ethnic and racial backgrounds, etc.) in an integrated setting.
• Participation in school-wide activities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Plans and creates student art projects for Cleveland’s annual student showcase, Cleveland Presents.
• Organizes and facilitates student Art Club.
• Before and after school duties on assigned days.
