Northland Pines Middle & High School is looking for an outstanding Band Director to join its amazing Family. This educator will teach mostly middle and high school classes but would also teach 6th grade band at Eagle River Elementary which is located on the same campus as the Middle and High School. This educator will work within a Professional Learning Community model and positive work environment at Northland Pines Middle & High School, sharing in the collective responsibility to ensure strong student outcomes. We are looking forward to having this educator bring knowledge and talent for teaching Band and inspiring students. 

This person will be taking on a strong program and able to grow it through support and high level resources. Our music department values strong teamwork and collaboration, and a quality candidate for this job would work closely with our choir director, general music teachers, a supportive Music Boosters group, encouraging administrators, and arts-minded community organizations to provide enriching curriculum and performance opportunities to our students. Our students marched in the 2023 Rose Parade as part of the Northwoods Marching Band, and perform at a high level each year at Solo/Ensemble and State Solo/Ensemble. Candidates with interest in jazz ensemble, composition, pep band, marching band, and/or pit orchestra are encouraged to apply.

The school is nestled in the City of Eagle River with a school forest nearby, hiking trails, gardens and the precise facilities that have state of the art technology and resources available for teaching staff.
