Duties of the Position: A strong candidate should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to work with other school staff, parents, community agencies and service providers to provide support and deliver high quality services and instruction for all students.  Must be able to work on a team of counselors and willing to be active in all parts of the school.  Responsibilities will include classroom and small group guidance, and individualized counseling.  The candidate will serve as a liaison for families who are homeless and work with families of students in need of in-school therapy.  Knowledge of and ability to participate in special education and section 504 process is helpful. Ideal candidates will have thorough knowledge of SEL, RtI, PBIS, and effectively implement the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model in grades PK-5
